This will be an interactive workshop to learn about Mindfulness: what it is, how to practice it, and how to incorporate it into your life.
We will discuss the concepts and theories of Mindfulness so everyone can comprehend what it means to be mindful.
We will do an exercise midway through and a guided meditation at the end to experience and truly FEEL what it is all about.
The workshop will teach you how to apply these concepts to your life, how it will benefit your mental, physical and emotional health, and show you methods and techniques on how to always be able to return to the present moment and experience life as it is happening in real-time.
This event is hosted by Michael Volpe. Michael Volpe has been meditating since 2012, and became a meditation teacher in 2015. He was certified through McLean Meditation Institute (MMI) after taking a 200 hour self study course, which included 6 months of meditating every day to get the course material, and finished with an 8 day intensive in Sedona, AZ with fellow graduating course members.
Michael has since been actively teaching, reaching hundreds of students through yoga studios, shops, meditation studios, corporations, private sessions, even to inmates in jail. Michael is constantly learning and expanding his own practice, and has a passion for sharing what he has learned and experienced to help others benefit.
