“It’s very important that we re-learn the art of resting and relaxing… It allows us to clear our minds, focus, and find creative solutions to problems” Thich Nhat Hanh

Torus Therapy believes yoga, meditation and mindfulness are an integral part of a whole-body healing. As part of an overall wellness program or as an individual practice, our clients find yoga as a place experience the quiet, to discover those moments of peace in perpetual chaos and to find comfort in the stillness of the body and mind. We meet you where you are, on the mat and in life, with a practice that supports your healing and growth.

During the initial 45-minute session there will be time to get to know each other, share past yoga experiences, discuss goals or concerns, and move a little on the mat.  Every session is designed for where you are at the time – physically, emotionally, and spiritually – and will include movement, stillness and meditation.

If you are currently a therapy client and would like to sign a consent form, your therapist and yoga instructor can communicate on how to best integrate your psychotherapy session and body work. This will give you ultimate healing in ways you couldn’t achieve with just one modality.
